Good luck to our area high school seniors
Many seniors throughout our communities have already taken that last step of their high school years – graduation.
The Class of 2014 has turned the tassels at American Spirit Academy, Beaver Local, East Liverpool and Southern Local. So, too, have seniors at East Palestine, Edison and Lisbon.
Wellsville will hold commencement ceremonies June 1, diplomas will be received June 2 at Oak Glen, and South Side’s final high school chapter is June 12.
We wish every senior a hearty congratulations and an extended good luck.
Certainly we commend every member of our schools’ graduating classes for their dedication to 13 years of education.
Achieving that high school diploma, and all that went with it, is a big deal. A milestone, in fact, in one’s life. A check mark on your personal bucket list. All of you, and your parents, should be proud.
Now, the real world – college, trade school, the military or the workforce – begins. Adulthood becomes the next obstacle.
We urge you all to establish goals. Face challenges head on.
Should you stumble, and we all have in some fashion, we encourage you to hold strong to those beliefs, hopes and dreams.
Life isn’t easy, but you’ll most likely find the ride entertaining.
