Nina Sapp
TORONTO — Nina M. Sapp, 94, of Toronto passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018 at the Sienna Skilled Nursing Home, Wintersville.
Born Sept. 21, 1923 in St. Marys, W.Va., she was a daughter of Chester A. and Susan Elizabeth (McFarland) Sciance.
She was a member of the former Dennis Way Church of Christ of Toronto and was a 1941 graduate of Toronto High School. She had been employed as a telephone operator at the former Ohio Bell Telephone Co. in Toronto.
Her husband, Anson Bray Sapp, Jr., preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Larry W. Sapp; one grandson, four great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Elizabeth Sciance and brother, Ronald Sciance all of Toronto.
To honor her wishes, a private family service will be held Friday, Sept. 7, 2018 at the Toronto Union Cemetery with Minister Leonard “Buck” Groves of the Southern Hills Church of Christ, Salineville, officiating. Interment will follow the service at the cemetery.
