William ‘Bill’ Wright, 58

EAST LIVERPOOL — William “Bill” Wright, “Rugrat,” 58, of East Liverpool, passed away June 8, 2018, at home, after a lengthy illness.

He was born April 6, 1960, in Lancaster, Ohio. Bill spent most of his life in East Liverpool.

He was the son of the late Charles and Vivian (Davis) Wright.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nicole; three brothers, Randy, Chuck and Johnny; two sisters, Shirley and Debra; and four nephews, Brian, Brett, Steve and Mark.

He is survived by the love of his life, Michelle Kopras; four sons: Bradley McKenzie, Derrick McKenzie, Cody Oiler and Justin Cochran; and three stepchildren: Chris Oiler, Brian Kopras and Lacey Kopras.

He is also survived by grandbabies; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and -nephews.

He worked as a groomsman at Mountaineer Race Track most of life. He loved the outdoors, fishing, horses, and the Pittsburgh Steelers; but, most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Bill will truly be missed. He has left this world a better place to all that knew him.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 15, 2018, from 6-8 p.m., at the Nixon Funeral Home, 614 Washington St., Newell, W.Va. 26050.

The family is requesting memorial contributions be made to Nixon Funeral Home to assist in funeral expenses.
