East Liverpool Police Reports

City officers and members of the Columbiana County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant Friday afternoon at 1089 Mapletree St. where Shannon R. Herron, 41, of that address, reportedly admitted the drug paraphernalia discovered inside belonged to her. According to reports, the search turned up multiple burned spoons, needles, pinch-off baggies and lighters in the living room and in the upstairs of the home. Reports did not specify if anyone was charged.

While on patrol Saturday night on West Eighth Street, an officer stopped a vehicle for driving left of center and having a cracked windshield. The driver, Wendy L. Ludington, 49, Riverview Street, had no driver’s license and when asked to step out of the vehicle, the officer reported seeing a paper fold fall from her pants leg that reportedly was found to contain suspected crack cocaine. The rear seat passenger, Lisa Morgan-Profator, 46, Campground Road, Wellsville, was walking toward the patrol car when the officer reported seeing her trying to place a silver pipe down the front of her pants. The pipe fell to the ground and rolled underneath the patrol car and, when recovered, was found to contain a rock of suspected crack cocaine. Morgan-Profator was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, while Ludington was charged with driving without a license and given a warning for driving left of center and the cracked windshield. Both women were advised additional charges are pending the outcome of lab tests.
