LISBON — Robert Frank Fife, 96, formerly of North Beaver Street, passed away at 10:35 a.m., Monday, May 14, 2018 at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a recent illness.
He was born Sept. 10, 1921 in Wayne Township, a son of the late Clarence E. and Elva E. (Huffman) Fife.
He attended Wayne Township and Lisbon Schools, and was a 65+ year member of the Lisbon First United Methodist Church.
He was a Master Mechanic and teacher at the Operating Engineers School at Pine Lake.
Mr. Fife served in the U.S. Navy Seabees during World War II and attended yearly Seabee reunions throughout the United States for over 30 years.
His wife, Lydia M. (Bowles) Fife, preceded him in death. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11a.m., Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Tina Gallaher officiating.
Burial with full military honors will follow at the Lisbon Cemetery.
Visitation from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
