BEAVER, Pa. – John M. Carroll, 66, of Carroll Road in Calcutta, passed away Tuesday morning, Feb. 6, 2018, at Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Beaver, Pa., following a lengthy illness.
Born July 17, 1951, in East Liverpool, he was a son of the late Ross and Ruth McGonigal Carroll.
A member of the U.S. Army, he was a veteran of the Vietnam War after attending Beaver Local High School. He last worked at Elger’s in Salem.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Maggard Carroll, at home; one daughter, Margaret Carroll of Calcutta; two sons, James Carroll of East Liverpool and Rick Carroll of Ashburn, Va.; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A son, Dan Carroll, preceded him in death.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at Dawson Funeral Home, where a funeral service will take place 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, with Rev. Don Cochran officiating.
Burial in Columbiana County Memorial Park with military honors by Tri-State Veterans Burial Group.
