Clifford Schultheis Jr.
COLUMBUS — Clifford W. “Butch” Schultheis Jr., 70, of Lowell, Ohio, formerly of New Cumberland passed away at Riverview Methodist Hospital in Columbus on Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, after a lingering illness.
Born in Steubenville, on June 16, 1947, he was a son of the late Clifford W. Schultheis Sr. and Cora Jean Virden Schultheis.
He owned and operated Cliffie’s Salsa Company and was a Christian by faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shannon Marie Wedgwood.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Swiger Schultheis, his children, Marcie Guy of Rootstown; Skip Schultheis of Pittsburgh, and Jeffrey Schultheis of Marietta; siblings, Sandra Jones and Faith Buffington of New Cumberland, and Den West of New Cumberland; and four grandchildren.
His niece, Pastor Heather Long, will conduct services at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018 at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. He will be laid to rest in Union Cemetery, New Manchester. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today, Friday, at the funeral home.
