Carolyn Coursin, 69

Born Sept. 1, 1947, in Chester, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Georgiana (Hart) Snow.

Carolyn worked as a hairdresser for Marlene’s Cut Above. She was a member of the Glendale Church of the Nazarene and a past member of the 1st Church of the Nazarene in East Liverpool.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Snow, and a sister, Sarah May Snow

Surviving are two sons, Howard Coursin (Bessie Mayfield) of East Liverpool and Ralph Coursin of Chester; three grandchildren: Nathaniel, Andrew and Tiffany; a brother, Willis (Jackie) Snow of Chester; and a sister, Shirley Tinkey of Wellsville.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Nixon Funeral Home in Newell, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017.

Interment will follow in the Locust Hill Cemetery, Chester.
