Helen Musiolowski

LISBON — Helen Musiolowski, lifelong East Liverpool resident, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the Vista Center in Lisbon following a short illness. She was 96.

Born in Stratton, Ohio, Sept. 7, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Alexandria Theij Tarnovich. A member of St. Aloysius Parish and later Holy Trinity Parish, she was active at one time in the Tri-Angle Senior Citizens. Along with her husband, she enjoyed her spring and summer gardening of both vegetables and flowers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Musiolowski, on Feb. 14, 1995. The couple married Feb. 7, 1948. She was also preceded in death by her two sons, Frank Musiolowski, Jr. and Paul Musiolowski, two sisters, Ann Barborak (John) and Mary Rujak (Mike), as well as five brothers, Michael (Emily), Joseph (Rowena), Nicholas (Shirley), Louis Henry and Donald (Myrtle) Tarnovich.

Survivors include a daughter, Vickie Dailey and her husband, Thomas, of Negley, a sister Margaret Tarnovich of Toronto, and two grandchildren, Laura Dailey Wise and her husband, Jason, and Michael A. Dailey and his wife, Angie, along with two great-grandsons.

Fr. Peter Haladej will conduct a Mass service Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the James J. Hocking Center (formerly St. Aloysius School), where the family will receive friends from 8-10 a.m.

Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Following the service, friends and family will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
