MSG Norman Breth

BARLING, Ark. –MSG Norman Charles Breth, age 68 of Barling, Ark, passed away Feb. 3, 2017 in the V.A. Hospital in Little Rock, Ark.

He was born Jan. 4, 1949 in Latrobe, Pa. the son of the late Norman Paul and Margaret Leona (Dunn) Breth of Knoxville, Ohio.

He was a retired Master Sergeant from the United States Army and was a Vietnam War veteran. He was a 1967 graduate of Jefferson Union High School.

He was preceded in death by his infant son, Wesley Leland Breth.

Mr. Breth is survived by his wife, Julie K. (Nickerson) Breth of Barling, Ark.; sons, Norman Mark Breth of Aurora, Colo. and Michael Scott Breth of Woodland Park, Colo.; step-daughter, Tara Kaigh Walker of Xenia, Ohio; sisters, Joyce Irene Breth Zimmerman of Toronto, Ohio, Leona Mae Breth Wood of Summerton, S.C., Margaret “Peggy” Agnes Breth Cline of Toronto, Ohio; and three grandchildren.

He was interred at the Fort Smith, AK U.S. National Cemetery with full military honors.

A memorial service will be held at the Knoxville Volunteer Fire Department social hall Sunday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Jack Ernest officiating.
