Carol Thompson Wykoff

SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — Carol Thompson Wykoff was born on April 10, 1935, in East Liverpool. She was a daughter of the late Malcolm W. and Mildred Taylor Thompson. She passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Peter Claesen Wykoff, and her two sons, John David Wykoff (Sharon) of Nashville, Tenn. and William Scott Wykoff (Wendy) of Olney, Md., as well as four grandchildren: Christopher Wykoff, William Wykoff, Emily Wykoff and Henry Wykoff. She is also survived by one brother, John C. Thompson (Margaret “Peggy”) of East Liverpool.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Millicent “Millie” Thompson Mayers of East Liverpool.

She was Aunt Carol to nephews and nieces Penn Plummer, Thomas Plummer, Julia Gorman, Douglas Thompson, “Mitsie” Koos, Mary Martha Koos, Rebecca Koos, “Mac” Koos, and Frederic Koos.

Carol attended East Liverpool High School and was graduated from the Hathaway Brown School, Shaker Heights, Ohio, and Smith College, Northampton, Mass.
