WINTERSVILLE –David Eugene Curran, 67, passed away at his home on Bantam Ridge Road in Wintersville at 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 2017.  He was surrounded  by his family who had cared for him throughout his ten-year illness.

A son of the late Patrick and Grace E. Weddle Curran McHenry, he was born in East Liverpool on Dec. 11, 1949.

He had been associated with Marsh Bellofram until he became disabled due to his illness.

His wife, Deb, survives him at home.

Mr. Curran also leaves behind his children: Lisa Potts of East Liverpool; Lori Owens of Newell; Brian Curran of East Liverpool; and David Curran also of East Liverpool, along with a step-son, Jason Ruiz, at home.  There are 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three sisters, Betty Blystone of East Liverpool; Judy Sellers of Panama City, Fla.; and Georgie Bailey of East Liverpool. A brother, Pat Curran also survives in Salem.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Thursday, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Bill Cox officiating. Following the service, friends and family will gather at the Dawson Family Center for a continued time of fellowship.
