Lois Edna Davis, 86
SOUTH POINT, Ohio — Lois Edna Davis, 86, formerly of Chester, W.Va., went to be with the Lord and to join her husband on Sunday Nov.,6th 2016.
She was born in Cadiz, Ohio on Oct. 10, 1930 to Joseph Scott and Martha Helen Henderson.
She was married to Gene E. Davis who preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by three sisters: Mary Gittings (Bill), Odessa Rutter (Carl), and Phyllis Henderson.
She retired from Milligan Hardware after working there for 30 years. She was a member of the Chester First Church of the Nazarene where she served in many positions. She attended the South Point Nazarene church where she was a member of the Golden Girls.
She is survived by her two sons Bruce Davis (Linda Czarney) of Bourbonnais, Ill. and Jeffrey Davis (Jonna) of South Point, Ohio with whom she resided and two daughters, Karen Easterwood (Jerry) and Barb Martin (Tim) both of Spring, Texas. She had 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren with another one due in Dec. She is also survived by a sister Joan Dillon (Argyle) and brother Michael White (Anne) both of Weirton, W.Va.
Visitation will be at Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Chester Nazarene Church. Interment at Locust Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that a donation to the Chester Church of the Nazarene be made in her memory.
