John Marion Hart, 88
CHESTER — John Marion Hart, 88, lifetime resident of Chester, passed away Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016.
He was born on Oct. 28, 1928, at his home on Locust Hill Road the Hart Family Farm.
He was the son of James Emmett and Agnes (Eichler) Hart. John was just one of 13 children.
He attended and graduated Wells High School in Newell. John helped work the Hart Family Farm, also he worked at T S & T Pottery in Chester and later in life he was the care taker of Locust Hill Cemetery and a member of the Cemetery Board.
John was a Nazarene in faith; He attended First Church of the Nazarene on St. Clair Ave. and he was attending the Bible Missionary Church in Pa.
John used to go to the Pottery Conventions and liked going to Church Camps.
John’s brothers have all passed away, Earl Hart, James Paul (Mildred) Hart, Roy (Jo Ann) Hart, Lawrence Hart, and Ralph Hart; and also passed away are his sisters, Martha Hart, Georgiana (Clyde) Snow, Ruth (Walter) Coil, Mary Catherine (Dick) Simballa, Evelyn Hart, Leona Hart and Pearl (Bill) Ash.
John leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Nixon Funeral Home in Newell, W.Va. Funeral service will be held at 11 am. Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Locust Hill Cemetery, Chester, W.Va.
