LISBON– Edward J. Landsberger, age 92, of Lisbon, died on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 at his residence.
He was born on Nov. 10, 1923 in East Palestine, a son of the late William F. and Edna J. Pike Landsberger.
Mr. Landsberger was a veteran of the United States Army having served during WWII and was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Lisbon. He worked in the maintenance department for the Ohio Turnpike.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice E. Frazier Landsberger; two daughters, Paula Ann Barnhart of Lisbon and Christine Ann Arkwright of Leetonia; four sisters, Louise Yacullo of Columbiana, Virginia Artrip of Rogers, Margaret Stratton of Greer, S.C. and Evelyn Bailey of East Palestine; and a brother, Elvie Landsberger of New Springfield.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Stephen Wassie officiating.
Burial will be at the Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, New Waterford.
