Carl L. ‘Tim’ Timmons
EL DORADO HILLS — Carl L. “Tim” Timmons passed away Nov. 11, 2016, surrounded by his family, at home, in El Dorado Hills, Calif.
He was born Aug. 16, 1932, in East Liverpool, to Ben and Esther Timmons. Siblings included brother Jack, sisters Isabel and Marjorie, and stepmother Marie, all whom have preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ruth, and two sons: Daniel (Theresa), grandchildren Matt Timmons and Jennifer Timmons Bell (Sandy), and great-granddaughter Dylan June Bell, and son David (Natasha), all of Garden Grove, Calif. He is also survived by his stepsisters Shirley Smith and Thelma Quinn of Ohio.
Tim left the Ohio Valley for California in 1963, looking for more opportunity and a better life for his family. Finding the plastic industry new and exciting, he began in 1964 what became a lifetime commitment of 43 years. Beginning with inside sales on the order desk, he was promoted to outside sales quickly and after a short time began winning awards several times in both national and international competition. Leaving the corporate world in 1978, he opened a sales agency with his son, Dan, which is still in existence today. Along with his loving family and cherished childhood friends, he enjoyed a quiet, comfortable and unpretentious life. At his request there will be no service.
Millers Funeral Home of Folom, Calif., handled arrangements.
