Joshua Seth Weymouth, 34

Joshua Seth Weymouth

EAST LIVERPOOL — East Liverpool native Joshua Seth Weymouth closed his eyes in the presence of his loved ones and passed away at 3:45 a.m. Sunday morning, Oct. 23, 2016.  “Josh”, as he was known, had battled with poor health for years, and died at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh.  He was a beloved son, brother and friend.

Born in East Liverpool on May 16, 1982, Josh was a son of Paul Hughey Weymouth of East Liverpool, and Ruby Weymouth, Josh’s stepmother, who considered him her very own.

He was a 2000 graduate of East Liverpool High School, attended Kent State University and later became a pastry chef, primarily working at various restaurants in the Pittsburgh area.  Josh was an excellent cook, and in his downtime, he loved watching the Food Channel.  He enjoyed photography – especially during Autumn, his favorite time of year, and he was happy when surrounded by his friends.

Josh was raised and celebrated his bar mitzvah at the Beth Shalom Temple in East Liverpool, and always appreciated his Jewish heritage.

In addition to his parents, Josh leaves behind his two brothers, Daniel Weymouth and his fiance, Brittany Amicone, with whom he resided in East Liverpool, and Joseph Weymouth and his wife, Adrienne, of Greenfield, Mass.  He will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins – but mostly, by his best friends, Nicole Edwards, and his dog, “Doodles”.

Friends would be warmly received by the family from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Dawson Funeral Home.

Family friend, Pastor Dale Sutton, will officiate at services to be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Thursday.  Josh will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery.
