TORONTO – Jacqueline “Jackie” Virginia Horkulic, age 81 of Toronto, passed away Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at the UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born Aug. 10, 1933, in Port Homer, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Anna (Dunlevy) Tice.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church of Toronto.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Byrl Grose; second husband, Joseph Horkulic; and a son, David Grose.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan A. Long of Bergholz; sons, Gail H. Grose of Golfport, Fla., Joseph M. Horkulic Jr. of Toronto, John M. Horkulic of Spring Hill, Fla., and Jeffrey S. Horkulic of Steubenville; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ted Tice of Independence, Mont.
Visitation will be held 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014, at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.
A Requiem Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at the St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church, Toronto, with celebrant the Rev. Father John Kapitan Jr. OFM. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery.
