DARLINGTON, Pa. – Harriet L. Campbell, 94, of Cannelton Road, passed away at 2:27 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, at the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, South Beaver Twp., where she had been a patient for the past few years.
Born July 23, 1920, in Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Amelia Schaal Wellendorf. She had at one time been employed with Harvey Trailer Sales.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ, East Palestine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Campbell Sr.; a son, James W. Campbell Sr.; and a grandson, James E. Campbell Jr.
Survivors include three daughters, Nancy Pegg, New Castle, Pa., Laura Riley, Darlington, Pa., and Velma Bratt, Rogers; one son, Joseph Campbell Jr., New Castle, Pa; two sisters, Margaret Forney and Charlotte Sutherin, both of Columbiana; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, East Palestine, with Robert J. Helbeck, of her church, officiating. Burial will follow in East Carmel Cemetery, Rogers. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, and for one hour prior to the time of service.
