Olive A. “Bunny” Reed, 58

EAST LIVERPOOL – Olive A. “Bunny” Reed, age 58 of East Liverpool, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2014, at The Hospice of the Valley in Boardman, after a lengthy illness.

Bunny was born in East Liverpool on April 11, 1956, the daughter of Mary Ann Parr of East Liverpool and the late Glenn Earich and lived her entire life in this area. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School , Class of 1974, and was employed as a custodian for East Liverpool Schools, retiring in 2010.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Reed Sr., who she married on March 8, 2008.

Additional survivors include four sons: Michael Earich of East Liverpool, Craig Pelley and his wife, Misty, of Pasadena, Md., Brian Pelley and his wife, Brandie, of East Liverpool, Mark Reed Jr. and his wife Nicole, of East Liverpool; one daughter, Jennifer Keck and her husband, Brandon also of East Liverpool; two brothers, Glenn Earich and his wife, Myra, and Scott Earich and his wife, Edith, all of East Liverpool; one sister, Teresa Emmerling, and her husband, Tom, of Massillon, Ohio; 12 grandchildren: Joseph, Payne, Mikey, Chase, Ryah, Nykolas, Alex, Bristan, Xavier, Olivia, Chloe and Caleb; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Bunny was preceded in death by her stepfather, Rolland Parr, who helped raise her, and two brothers, Christopher and Harold Earich.

Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes with Pastor Norm Eckert of Beechwood Free Methodist Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home in Calcutta on Tuesday from 4:30 up until of services at 7 p.m.
