Betty L. (Tittle) Bayer, 86

AUSTINTOWN – Betty L. (Tittle) Bayer, 86 formerly of East Liverpool, died at Austin Woods in Austintown on Thursday, July 10, 2014.

Betty was born in East Liverpool, a daughter of the late Edward and Laura (Lane) Tittle. Living most all of her life in the area, Betty was in the first graduating class of the East Liverpool Central School in 1944. After moving to Austintown late in life, she attended the Emmanuel Community Church.

Betty is survived by a son: John R. White and his wife Ann of San Antonio, Texas; a stepson: Charles Bayer Jr. and his wife Debbie of East Liverpool; a daughter, Ann Casto and her husband Alan of Austintown; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her first husband, John F. White, who died in 1953; her second husband, Charles Bayer who died in 2009; a brother, Charles Tittle; and a sister, Martha Handley.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes with Pastor John Hutchinson of Emmanuel Community Church officiating. Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Sunday, July 13, 2014, from 3-6 p.m.
