Scott Allen McIntosh, 59

SALINEVILLE-Scott Allen McIntosh, 59 of Salineville died suddenly at the Beaver Valley Medical Center on Friday, June 20, 2014. He was born on June 27, 1954 a son of the late Frank and Evelyn (FitzGerald) McIntosh. Having lived his entire life in the area, Scott was a graduate of Southern Local High School Class of 1972, and a member of Bethel United Presbyterian Church. He was a dedicated employee at First Energy, Shippingport, for the past 35 years. He was an avid Motorcyclist, taking many trips to the Dakotas to attend the Sturgis Rally. Scott also enjoyed farming and hog hunting. He loved nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren and they loved spending time with him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Scott is survived by his wife: Susan Shank, whom he married Nov. 13, 2001; a son: John McIntosh and his wife Jessica of Hanoverton; two daughters Lisa Luli and her husband Josh of Salem, Ohio, and Erica Neiheisel and her husband Eric of Ravenna, Ohio; two step sons: Alan Shank and his wife Falon of Cape Coral Fla., and Andrew Shank and his significant other Haley of Avonmore, Pa.; a brother Frank McIntosh II and his wife Dottie of Guilford Lake, Ohio; a sister: Joyce Bhe of Beloit, Ohio; a brother in law: Greg Koontz of Columbiana, Ohio and eleven grandchildren: Tyler McIntosh, Gunner McIntosh, Maggie Luli, Garrett McIntosh, Eli Shank, Lucas Neiheisel, Logan Neiheisel, Max Luli Sloan Shank, Megan Luli and Sadie Shank.

In addition to his parents, Scott was proceeded in death by his first wife Linda Crawford McIntosh, who died in 1999; a sister: Christine Koontz and a niece Amanda Koontz.

Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes at 11 a.m. on Wednesday June 25, 2014 with Pastor Leonard Moore of the Salem First Christian Church Officiating with graveside services to follow at Bethel United Presbyterian Church.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Calcutta Chapel on Tuesday June 24, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
