Margaret J. “Tootie” Blystone, 85
EAST LIVERPOOL – Margaret J. “Tootie” Blystone, 85, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2014, at East Liverpool City Hospital following a brief illness.
The youngest daughter of the late Lee and Elsie Mae Mills Dexter, she was born in East Liverpool on May 23, 1928.
A homemaker and Christian by faith, Tootie was kept busy raising her seven children, Helen Trillhaase and husband Butch of Winston-Salem, N.C., Mildred Higgins and companion Dave Wright of East Liverpool, Jenny Triner and husband Jerry of East Liverpool, Bill Blystone and wife Betty of East Liverpool, Don Blystone and wife Sandy of Salem, Tom Blystone and companion Debbie Cramer of East Liverpool, and Pete Blystone and wife Carrie of East Liverpool.
Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren survive as well.
Her husband, William Blystone preceded her in death as did three grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.
East Liverpool City Hospital Chaplain Linda Cormany will officiate services on Wednesday, May 21, at 7:30 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Interment will at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens in Newell.
