Donald P. “Scotty” Scott, 56

EAST LIVERPOOL – Donald P. “Scotty” Scott, 56 of East Liverpool, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2014, at Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville after becoming ill at work.

Scotty was born in East Liverpool on May 27, 1957, to Betty E. Gibas Scott of East Liverpool and the late Donald M. Scott.

He had worked for Pusateri Excavating in East Liverpool for 27 years before moving to D.W. Dickey as a Concrete Truck driver seven years ago.

He had been a member of the Teamsters union while at Pusateri Excavating.

In his younger day’s he had attended the Long’s Run Presbyterian Church and he was a 1976 graduate of Beaver Local High School.

Scotty was into classic cars and loved taking his antique truck to local car shows. His other hobby was trap shooting.

On Sept. 27, 1997, he was married to Freda Calhoun Scott and she survives at home.

His sister Joann Neimeyer and her husband Mark of East Liverpool also survive.

The family will be present to receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester where Pastor Tom Schneidmiller will conduct services on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
