EAST LIVERPOOL – Lawrence “Larry” Curran, 65, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Hospice House in Poland, Ohio following a lengthy illness.
He was born in East Liverpool, on Nov. 1, 1948, a son to the late Robert Curran and Margret (Schmidbauer) Curran-Campbell.
Mr. Curran was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as the film operator for Skyview Cinema before retiring.
He is survived by his wife Linda L. (Post) Curran, at home; two daughters, Tina and Cherrie Curran of East Liverpool; three brothers, Joe Curran of East Liverpool; William and John Curran both of Seattle, Wash.; and two sisters: Veronica Fulmer of Richmond, Wash. and Mary Bishop of East Liverpool.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Michael Curran.
Family will be present to receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes.
Burial will take place in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
