Cynthia L. Boyce, 55

EAST LIVERPOOL – Cynthia “Cindy” Louise (Wetzel) Boyce, 55, of East Liverpool, died suddenly at her home on Friday, April 4, 2014, after suffering a massive heart attack.

She was born July 27, 1958, in East Liverpool, a daughter of Joyce (Jackson) Wetzel and the late Jack Wetzel Sr.

Cindy worked as a bank teller for seven years at the former Potters Bank, where she was awarded often for her dedication and hard work. She was a 1977 graduate of Wellsville High School and later attended the Ohio State University.

Survivors include her mother, Joyce A. Wetzel of Wellsville; her husband of 22 years, James E. Boyce of East Liverpool; her daughter, Jenny R. Boyce, of East Liverpool; two nieces: Shawna Kelly and her husband Roger of Hanoverton and Kristen Medure and her husband Frank of Salem; two great nephews: Rohan Alan Kelly and Finley Jack Kelly, both of Hanoverton; as well as a close cousin, Phillip Powell of Marietta, Ga.

Besides her father, Cindy was preceded in death by her beloved younger brother, Jack E. Wetzel Jr., who died in 2010.

Cindy spent her life focusing on family and those dearest to her. She loved with her whole heart and touched the lives of many, always giving anything and everything she had to those who came to her for help. She loved animals her entire life and left behind her teacup Maltese, Lexi, and will join her first little companion, Colby, who she lost five years ago. She will be missed tremendously by all.

As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or services held. The Roberts Funeral Home, Wellsville, has been entrusted with her care.
