V. Louise Morgan, 83
EAST LIVERPOOL – V. Louise Morgan, 83, of 10th St. Ext., in Wellsville, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 5:15 a.m. at The Adkins Care Center in East Liverpool following a lengthy illness.
She was a daughter of the late Elwood and Elsie Reynolds Davis, Sr., Louise was born in Fredericktown, Ohio on Nov. 6, 1930 and was a lifetime area resident.
Louise was the owner operator of Louise’s Beauty Shop in Wellsville and was a life member and past President of the VFW Ladies Aux. Post 66.
Surviving are her husband, Charles W. Morgan, whom she married on June 18, 1949, and three daughters, Lily Vennum, and her husband Dave “Snake”, Penny McComas, and her husband, Charles, both of East Liverpool, and Evelyn Morgan of Wellsville, as well as her son, Mark Morgan Sr. and his companion Linda Loy, of East Liverpool.
She will be missed by her four grandchildren, Danielle Shipley, and her husband Jason, Angie Ziegler and her husband Chris, Missy McComas, and Mark Morgan, Jr. and his wife Cristy. There are five great-grandchildren, Danny Zink, Olivia Shipley, Carley Davis, Jasmine Ziegler and Desire Morgan.
Louise is survived by two sisters, Margaret Walters and her husband Dale, of Apollo, Pa., Elsie Mae Duncan of Salineville, and a brother, Alvin “Doss” Davis, and his wife Susie, of Salineville. There are also many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded by her son Ernest John Morgan, seven sisters and two brothers.
Friends may visit Tuesday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Associate Pastor Kenny Cowdery of the Avondale Baptist Church will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery.
