SALINEVILLE – Ralph J. Dangelo, 89, passed away Feb. 27, 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona, but was a life long resident of Salineville, Ohio.
He was born in Summitville, Ohio on June 22, 1924 to the late Patsy and Angeline Carlone Dangelo.
Mr. Dangelo was Catholic by faith and a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in WWII. He retired from General Motors, Co.
He will be missed by two sons, Butch Dangelo of Phoenix, Arizona and Marty Dangelo of Salineville; three daughters, Bonnie Rigsby of Phoenix, Arizona, Gerry Wicks of Minerva, Ohio, Chrissy Sargent of Erie, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Pete Dangelo of Summitville, and Jim Dangelo of Salineville; eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Eva Higgins Dangelo.
Mr. Dangelo was very specific in his request for viewing at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home in Salineville from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 4.
Cremation will follow.
