WELLSVILLE – Carole A. VanDyke, 70 of Wellsville, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born in Salineville on Jan. 31, 1944, she was a daughter to the late Delmer Kellogg and Grace (Carter) Davis.
Survivors include three sons: Carter VanDyke Sr. of Lisbon, William VanDyke II and Mark VanDyke of Wellsville; three daughters: Diane Decker of Richmond, Ohio, Kathleen Messenger of East Liverpool, and Della Snider of Wellsville; three brothers: Jim Kellogg and John Davis of Minerva, and Jack Kellogg of Florida; one sister: Lesa Stoll of Minerva; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
It was Mrs. VanDyke’s wishes that there be no visitation or services. The family will have a private service at a later date. The Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes has been entrusted with arrangements.
