TORONTO – Charles Donald “Charlie” Vantilburg, age 43 of Toronto, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was born April 21, 1970 in Steubenville.
He was employed at the Laborer’s Local Union No. 809, Steubenville, where he had been a crew chief.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Harry Vantilburg, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Sue Jones Vantilburg; mother, Edna Brannon Mushrush of Toronto; sons, Anthony, Andrew and Austin Vantilburg, all of Toronto; brother, Thomas H. Vantilburg, Jr. of Birmingham, Ala.; sisters, Precious Escobar of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Holly Eakle of Mingo Jct.; step mothers, Lorna Grimm of Mingo Jct., Ohio and Dolores Shipley of Steubenville (Pottery Addition), Ohio and one granddaughter.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. Wednesday, July 10 at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.
A celebration service of life will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Raul Diaz officiating.
Following services, friends and family will gather at the Toronto Eagles for fellowship and a meal.
