EAST PALESTINE – Hugh Malcom Trainor, 85, of East Palestine, Ohio passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 26, 2013.

Born in West Leyden, N.Y. on June 13, 1927, to Alexander Winfield Trainor and Elizabeth Janet (“Bessie”) Logan Trainor. He was a Veteran of World War II.

He was a private pilot and retired from U.S. Air, Pittsburgh, as an aircraft mechanic.

He was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses of the East Palestine Congregation.

He is survived by his wife Mabel Betsinger Trainor and seven sons and daughters: Michael of Ind.; Cynthia Crill, Tenn.; Melissa Stevens, N.Y.; C. Lauri Owens, Ohio; Nanette Owens, Ohio; Nathan, Va.; Benjamin W.Va.; brother Kenneth of West Leyden, N.Y. and eleven grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6th, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 700 Brookdale Avenue, East Palestine.

Arrangements were with the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home.
