LISBON – Glenn R. Kennedy, 75, of Johnson Road, passed away at approximately 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at his residence, after suddenly taking ill.
Born Jan. 7, 1938, in East Liverpool, he was the son of the late Richard Glenn Kennedy and Mae Stewart Tipton.
He retired from the former McIntosh Hemphill Steel Mill in Midland, Pa., and was a Union Boilermaker for more than 20 years.
Mr. Kennedy was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Germany with the Army’s Tank Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Kennedy, at home; three sons, Mark Lee Kennedy and Joseph Edgar Kennedy, both of Cleveland, Tenn., and Glenn Richard Kennedy II of Lisbon; two sisters, JoAnn Atkins and Geneva Mae Lammers, both of California; and six granddaughters and nine great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be on the Kennedy Family Farm.
