Albert George Crissman, 85

EAST LIVERPOOL – Albert George Crissman, 85, of East Liverpool, passed away Monday, Feb. 25, 2013.

Born April 25, 1927, in Putneyville, Pa., he was a son of the late William and Margaret Martin Crissman.

He formerly drove truck for Metropolitan Trucking and South Hills Movers. He was a minister (Non-Denominational) and a member of the 1st Baptist Church in East Liverpool.

In addition to his parents, his wife, Minerva Crissman; a daughter, Lois Crissman; a brother, Arthur Crissman; and a sister, Ruby Nelson, preceded him in death.

Surviving are his five sons, Kenneth (Jean) Crissman of Export, Pa., Denis Crissman of North Huntington, Pa, Terry Crissman of Export, Pa., Perry Crissman of New Mexico and Gary (Lisa) Crissman of Texas; two daughters, Diane (Clark) Plumm of Hammondsville and Judy Short of East Liverpool: 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, Buddy L. Crissman of Weirton; and a sister, Louise France of Wellsville.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Nixon Funeral Home in Newell, with funeral services at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013. Interment will follow at Mt Zion Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
