Christina Ann Luckino, 64

WINTERSVILLE-Christina Ann Luckino, 64, of Wintersville passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in prayer on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 at her residence after a long battle with brain cancer.

She was born on Jan. 19, 1949 in Steubenville, a daughter of the late Carmen and Mary Kuhar Abdalla.

Chris was a member of the former Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Education and Vocational Economics She worked for over 17 years as the text book manager at Franciscan University.

Chris is survived by her husband Frank A. Luckino, Jr.; children Joseph (Tiffany) Luckino of Wintersville, Magdalene M. Luckino and Carmen F. Luckino both of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Dr. Frank A. (Jessica) Luckino III of Stow, Ohio; granddaughter Leigha Gampolo; siblings Carmella (Rudy) Menendez of Tampa, Fla., Michael (Cecilia) Abdalla of Hammondsville, Ohio, Thomas Abdalla of Stratton, Ohio, Mary Ann (Dudley) Crawford of Hollywood, Fla., Joseph (Shelly) Abdalla of Wellsville, Ohio; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Sunday 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 852 Main St., Wintersville with Msgr. Kurt Kemo officiating. Burial at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Wellsville, OH

Vigil services 3:45 p.m. Sunday
