Morgan Bouscher

EAST LIVERPOOL — Morgan Bouscher, daughter of Glenn and Heather Bouscher, has been named Calcutta Rotary Club Student of the Month for December.

Miss Bouscher has completed 134 community service hours. Her service activities are: volunteer at Vacation Bible School, Shaker Woods clean-up, red & white golf outing, youth basketball scoreboard, volleyball youth clinic, basketball concession, youth concession stand, softball hotdog sale, COPR and community day, middle school basketball stats.

Bouscher said: “community service gives students the opportunity to give back to the community that shaped them. Community service reminds me to be compassionate and help others always.”

Her school activities include: volleyball, three years; softball, Varsity B Club, English Honors Club, FCA, History Club, Outdoor Adventure Club and SADD Club.

Olivia Roe

WELLSVILLE — The Wellsville Lions Club has selected Olivia Roe as the Student of the Month for November. She is the Daughter of Gordon and Cheryl of Wellsville.

Miss Roe’s academic awards include the following: 3.75 Honor Roll, A Honor Roll and National Honor Society. Her athletic Honors include the following: she has been a member of the Bowling team for four years where she earned TMC Valley Conference 2nd Team, and was an EOAC Academic Athlete. She was also a member of the Track Team for one year. She received awards of Excellence in Spanish III, American History, and English III.

Her high school clubs and activities are: Robotics, Thespians for four years, Varsity W Club for three years, Art Club two years, she is the Vice President of the Senior Class, Student Counsel Advisory Board member, and a member Future Educators of America.

She likes to give back to her community. She has prepared boxes for Care and Share; has been a mentor for Project PAWS for two years; participated in Tag Days for Bowling and Band; helped serve at the Wellsville Veterans Day Assembly, and worked at the SOI Fish Fries. She also help collected items and pack a truck for the victims of Hurricane Florence.

She plans to attend Youngstown State University in the fall with an undecided major.
