New Castle School of Trades graduation

EAST LIVERPOOL — The East Liverpool campus of New Castle School of Trades has released its list of March 2018 graduates:

Those receiving a diploma in Combination Welding include Jeromy Brewer, Jaci Fark, Drayven Garey, Jason Kane, Amanda Netherland, Zachary Schaming, and Viszuani Williams.

A diploma in Electrical & Industrial Maintenance went to Shane Allen, Traci Davis, Kevin Deems, Christopher Lemley, and Michael Osborne

Earning a diploma in Refrigeration & Climate Control was Joshua Tomei

And Jaci Fark was named valedictorian of the class.

CCCTC students place at regional event

LISBON — Students from two of the student career and technical skill organizations at the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center recently competed in regional competitions.

The Business Professionals of America (BPA) announced regional winners Feb. 6 at the banquet. Winners participated in the state BPA competition March 8-9 in Columbus, where two students moved on to the national competition.

The SkillsUSA organization held its regional competition March 3 at Trumbull Career and Technical Center. Students who placed first, second or third advance to the state competition April 24-25 in Columbus.

The following list are students who placed at the SkillsUSA regionals and will compete in state:
