A man reported on Sunday he lost his brown leather wallet, which looks like a cowboy boot and was last seen at the Salineville Car Wash.

While running radar on state Route 39 on Tuesday police stopped a speeding vehicle and found the passenger in the back seat to be Bridget McKinnon, who had a warrant for failure to appear in Jefferson County. She was taken into custody and turned over to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

Someone reported suspicious activity at a home on East Main Street, which may have been drug and squatter related on Sunday. Police found the suspicion to be unfounded.

Robert Bidwell reported on Tuesday his roommate stole his birth certificate and Social Security card. Police told him to notify the three credit reporting agencies.
