Columbiana County Sheriff

Barbara Campbell, Bower Road, West Township, reported at 9:44 a.m. Tuesday she found five unauthorized charges on her debit card through Stark Federal Credit Union. The charges were $50 each for a total of $250.

Shane Bates, Unity Line Road, reported at 8:31 a.m. Tuesday, his ex-wife, Jessica Bates, took his tool box with miscellaneous hand tools and mechanical tools. The tools were worth several thousand dollars. Additionally, Bates believed his ex-wife’s boyfriend, Matthew Faulkner, sold the tools. The items are reportedly at the Rollerena Auto Sales dealership in East Palestine. Deputies explained it is a civil matter.

A resident on state Route 517 reported at 2:08 p.m. Monday a vehicle was parked in his yard and he did not know the owner. The vehicle parked halfway on Charles Street and halfway in the yard of the person filing the complaint. Deputies checked with the neighbors and one of their workers stated he parked there due to the ice on the hill. The vehicle was moved of the road.

KLG transported a woman from an East Lake Road in Hanover Township home to Salem Regional Medical Center at 3:41 a.m. Monday.

A Unity Line Road, Unity Township, resident reported at 4:16 p.m. Monday, someone damaged their mailbox for the fourth time.
