Mabel Woolf, Depot Road, Lisbon, reported at 10:13 a.m. Wednesday she is being evicted from her trailer and was given 14 days by the court to vacate the premises. Wednesday was the 14th day and as she was taking thing out, the landlord reported drove past and called her a “dirty bum” and other names. The court paperwork reportedly states neither side should harass the other.

A man on Eagleton Road reported at 11:06 a.m. Tuesday he found the gas cap of his father’s truck open and the large garage door was folded out at the top. Neither he nor his girlfriend saw anything amiss when they were outside and she was leaving for work at 6 a.m. He noticed the situation later when he went outside to move the grill. The gas cap requires a key to open and half a tank of gas was missing from the tank.

A break in was reported at Social 45, state Route 45, Lisbon, at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday. The owner, Jennifer Howell, said she received a phone call from Guardian Security that there was a motion alarm going off in the office, but she believed it was probably a false alarm at the time. However, when she arrived at the office the back window was shattered. Someone had gone through the filing cabinet and a Fuji camera, which had been on a shelf in the office, was outside on the grill.

Carroll County Sheriff’s Office reported at 6:13 p.m. Wednesday they were attempting to stop Marcus Ford, 21, Toronto, who had a warrant. He was fleeing toward state Route 644 near Mechanicstown Road. Deputies responded and were then advised the vehicle was heading toward Salineville on state Route 644. Carroll County deputies lost the vehicle near Salineville, but Salineville police located the vehicle and followed it out Salineville Road West, also known as state Route 39, heading back into Carroll County. As the vehicle entered Carroll County, the driver lost control near the intersection of Nome Road NE and state Route 39, sending the vehicle over an embankment and into a ditch on the west side of Nome Road. Ford was taken into custody and taken to the Columbiana County Jail due to his warrant being out of this county. While searching Ford, a baggie reportedly holding suboxone was allegedly found between his butt cheeks inside his underwear.

An alarm at a Salem-Alliance Road, Butler Township, home at 2:59 p.m. Saturday led to deputies finding an open door, but no one was there and nothing appeared amiss.

An alarm at building on U.S. Route 62, Knox Township, was reported at 11:58 a.m. Saturday, but everything was secure.

Rachel Pelsmik, Farrington Road, reported a alarm in her living room at 4:47 p.m. Wednesday. She had checked the interior of the house, but there was no foul play.

Amy Rogan, state Route 45, Madison Township, reported at 5:06 p.m. Tuesday she had been contacted by someone who identified themselves as being with the Social Security Administration. The caller knew Rogan’s Social Security number, date of birth and address and then told her the Drug Enforcement Administration flagged her due to a Jeep being found in El Paso, Texas with nine kilos of cocaine inside. Additionally, the caller said it also appears Rogan is renting an apartment in Texas. The caller gave her a number to call back. Deputies suggested she start with the local Social Security office to inquire about the legitimacy of the call due to concerns it may be some type of scam.

Deputies and the Highlandtown VFD were called at a Haiti Road address in Washington Township at 10:15 p.m. Monday to check on a man. The fire department confirmed the man was deceased and then had to leave to handle other emergencies, and deputies waited until the man’s body was transported.

n A disabled vehicle was reported on McCracken Road at 4:37 a.m. Sunday. Deputies checked the area, but did not find the vehicle.
