In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a Nov. 1 pretrial was set for Joseph D. Beatty, 30, Old Lincoln Highway, East Liverpool, charged with OVI third offense and failure to control.

An Oct. 29 pretrial was set for Keith R. Patton, 31, Hubbard, cited with OVI second offense, OVI refusal with prior within 20 years, use of an unauthorized plate and open container.

James Washington, 31, College Street, East Liverpool, was fined $825, credited with four days served in jail and had his license suspended for a year for OVI first offense, driving under suspension and speeding.

Elisha A. Whitten, 23, West Perry Street, Salem, was fined $200, credited with a day in jail and required 40 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for scratching and wrestling with her sister, Elizabeth N. Whitten on July 16.

Ramon John Cope, 44, Crestview Road, Leetonia, was fined $675, had his license suspended for a year and sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense and marked lanes. An open container citation was dismissed.

A Sept. 17 pretrial was set for Taylor Huddleston, 26, Center Road, Alliance, charged with OVI first offense, possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia and speeding.

A Nov. 5 pretrial was set for Howard G. Smith, 68, East Chestnut Street, Lisbon, charged with assault for allegedly punching Ernest Duncan in the head several times, leaving marks on the right side of his face and arm.

A Sept. 17 pretrial was set for Shawn Ryan Haines, 34, Graham Street, Lisbon, charged with assault for allegedly hitting Jesse McVay in the face and throwing him to the ground on Friday.

An Oct. 29 pretrial was set for Serenity D. Muransky, 21, Grandview Avenue, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly scuffling with her mother, Holly Muransky, and biting her uncle, David Hostetter, on both of his arms on Saturday.

A Nov. 5 pretrial was set for Charles D. Lee Jr., 21, U.S. Route 30, East Rochester, charged with domestic violence. Lee allegedly threatened to hurt his mother for scolding him on Monday.

Lee T. Knight, 22, New Garden Avenue, Salem, was fined $200, credited with six days in jail, sentenced to an additional 9 days in jail and required 20 hours community service for assault for tackling Joseph Long on Sept. 4, which caused Long’s head to hit off the bathroom doorway and caused a gash in Long’s head.

Kara Brooke Falkner, 24, Calcutta Smith Ferry Road, East Liverpool, was fined $180 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension and marked lanes.

Christopher Vaughn Wint, 31, Ambridge, Pa., was fined $230 and had his license suspended for 180 days for speeding, possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.

Robert H. Hill Jr., 46, Etruria Street, East Liverpool, was fined $200 for persistent disorderly conduct amended from violating a temporary protection order for posting photos on social media, which were taken at a soccer match in Salem on Feb. 21. The posting made reference to the protection order Zachary Kinsey had against him and Kinsey was visible in at least one of the photos with an arrow pointed at him.

Robert E. Allen, 46,East Martin Street, East Palestine, was fined $100 for possession of marijuana.

Robert V. Walla, 32, Hubbard, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Russell E. Bosland, 51, Masury, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Stephen W. Dristas, 34, Imperial, Pa., was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Jeffrey William David Vickroy, 18, McGavern Road, Salineville, was fined $75 for reckless operation.

A Nov. 1 pretrial was set for Nicholas D. Hartenstein, 19, Cedar Ridge Drive, Salem, cited with possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a marijuana pipe and two grinders containing marijuana.

A Sept. 17 pretrial was set for Christina M. Lange, 41, Beard Road, New Waterford, charged with criminal mischief. Lange allegedly threw items all over the house, dumped water on items and threatened to burn the house down on Friday.

Jacob A. Loncar, 18, New Brighton, Pa., pleaded guilty to theft and a sentencing hearing was set for Oct. 15. Loncar stole a Kbar knife from the dash of Robert B. Schwenk’s vehicle on Aug. 23.

A Sept. 17 pretrial was set for Jeff E. Taylor, Madison Avenue, Salineville, cited with receiving stolen property for allegedly having two weedeaters, Echo String Trimmers, laying in his yard. Although Taylor reportedly told police he bought them at the Rogers Sale he could not provide a bill of sale and they had the same serial numbers of the trimmers taken from the Woodland Cemetery in Salineville on June 25.

Sidney B. Fryman, 21, Croft Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $200 for persistent disorderly conduct amended from telecommunications harassment for posting on social media a provocative photo of another woman lying on the ground with her bra exposed on Jan. 27.

Cooper Lee Briceland, 22, U.S. Route 62, Alliance, was fined $150 for no license amended from driving under suspension.

Brian Allen Hager, 43, state Route 170, East Palestine, was fined $150 for no license amended from driving under suspension.

Rick J. Willis Jr., 27, Spring Street, Salineville, was fined $50 for left of center and a registration violation.

An animals running at large charge against Amy L. Sutherin, 25, East State Street, Salem, was dismissed by agreement of the city and the defendant.
