In Municipal Court Thursday, Toby W. Jackson, 39, Saline Street, Irondale, was fined $675, sentenced to 90 days, 80 suspended, had his license suspended one year and was placed on probation three years for OVI. As part of his probation, he is to participate in Soberlink. For driving under suspension, he was fined $250, sentenced to 90 days with 80 suspended, had his license suspended one year and was placed on probation three years. He was fined $30 each for loud exhaust and unsafe vehicle.

Kimberly S. Davis, 51, St. Clair Avenue, was fined $150 and sentenced to 45 days for domestic violence.

Brandon E. Hacker, 25, Jimtown Road, East Palestine, was sentenced to 90 days for domestic violence.

Melissa Parmenter, 51, Linden Avenue, Chester, W.Va., was fined $150 for passing bad checks.

Ann L. Smith, 51, Main Street, Wellsville, was fined $250 for driving under suspension and $30 for expired license.

Justin M. Jones, 26, Dresden Avenue, was fined $250 and sentenced to 15 days for no operator’s license, third offense.

Taylor M. Merriman, 23, Wilbert Avenue, was fined $150 for passing bad checks.

Dontez L. Elam, no age listed, Cleveland, was bound over to Common Pleas Court on a charge of weapons under disability, with $100,000 cash/surety bond set. A trial to court was set Sept. 13 on a possession of marijuana charge.

Jury trials were scheduled for John S. Joy, 36, Sophia Street, charged with violating a protection order, Sept. 13; James E. McKahan Jr., Melbourne Avenue, theft, Oct. 18; William P. Price, 59, 8th Avenue, LaCroft, OVI and marked lanes, Oct. 18; and Lawrence C. Nardini, 51, St. George Street, domestic violence and obstruction of official business, Oct. 18.

A trial to court was set Sept. 13 for Anthony J. Bradley, 36, Erie Street, charged with unsafe vehicle. He was bound over to Common Pleas Court on a charge of having weapons while under disability, with a charge of obstructing official business also transferred to the county court. Cash/surety bond of $50,000 was set.

A preliminary hearing was set Aug. 28 for Brandon D. Lewis, 25, Cleveland, charged with mishandling a firearm in a vehicle, possession of marijuana and improper turn.

Pretrials were scheduled Oct. 4 for Jacob T. Graham, 32, 5th Street, Beloit, charged with theft; Homer E. Williams Jr., 58, Maine Boulevard, public indecency; Krystal R. Strickland, 34, Wilbert Avenue, driving under suspension, failure to signal and possession of drug paraphernalia; and Meika L. Boyer, 33, Bridgeport, turn signal, possession of drug abuse instruments, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia-marijuana, theft and passing bad checks, two counts.

A pretrial was scheduled Aug. 28 for Robert K. Barrett, E. 6th Street, charged with petty theft.
