A caller reported there was a man walking down the middle of state Route 164 south at 5:11 p.m. Sunday, and an officer found Robert Vecchio doing just that outside village limits. The officer pulled over and told Vecchio to quit walking in the road. Vecchio was carrying a 12-pack of Red Apple Ale which was opened and he had trouble staying on his feet. Vecchio was slurring his speech as he told the officer he had about six to nine beers since 2 p.m. Since this was outside of town, the highway patrol was summoned and a trooper arrived to take Vecchio into custody.

Police were called to North Park Avenue at 9:44 p.m. May 25, where Lester Lovett reported being pushed by Shawn Haines while he was carrying some belongings from an apartment for Tiffany Capone. Police were called to a disturbance on North Park Avenue at 7:22 a.m. Saturday involving Scott Bryan, Tiffany Dipone and Crystal Barnes. Bryan and Dipone were trying to remove their belongings from an apartment but they were locked out by Shawn Haines, who they let live there, but he also contributes to the rent. After no one answered the door, police allowed Bryan to jimmy the lock since it is his apartment and they found Haines in his room. Haines said he changed the locks because he does live there, and showed some paperwork to that effect to police. The other three then discovered some of their personal property was missing and began yelling. The group said they had some other people over to the apartment but they do not who they were, and Haines said he cannot identify them because he was drunk at the time. It went on like this for a while longer until the parties were allowed to begin removing items from the apartment. They claimed some items were still missing, and Haines retrieved some of their items from his room but he denied stealing any other of their items.
