Columbiana County Sheriff

Two people were reported at 1:41 p.m. Thursday sitting in a parked vehicle at the Quick Mart, state Route 45, Lisbon. A deputy spoke to the two, who stated they were talking and she was rubbing his back, but they denied having sex in the parking lot. Parker said she stays in a shelter and they came to the store to get something to drink. Neither had warrants. They were asked to leave and agreed to do so.

A deputy stood by while a Lisbon police officer performed a field sobriety test on a driver at the intersection of West Washington Street and South Beaver Street at 5:07 a.m. Saturday.

An intoxicated man was reported on the road at 11:28 p.m. Friday. Deputies found Chad A. Love, 31, South Elm Street, Columbiana, on Signal Road and charged him with disorderly conduct.

A loud party was reported on New Garden Road at 11:05 p.m. Friday. Deputies checked the home described, but no one was around.

Deputies responded to a report of a disabled semi truck near the intersection of Sandy Creek and Rochester Roads at 3:14 p.m. Friday. Kales Towing arrived an took the trailer away.

Jessica Kyser, Valley Road, Butler Township, reported at 5:43 p.m. Friday someone’s dog attacked her chicken. The dog warden was investigating.

Deputies responded to the Lisbon McDonalds to assist KLG ambulance with a patient who needed to go to the hospital at 9:53 p.m. Thursday.

Joanne Anderson, Dutchtown School Road, Elkrun Township, reported at 6:51 p.m. Sunday while she was on her property, Andy Fry and Audrey Weddle were in a truck, peeled out and drove fast past her. Anderson told deputies she is in the process of going to court over property issues involving them.

Bambi Chase, Hillcrest Road, Wellsville, reported at 5:08 p.m. Sunday one of her cows had what appeared to be an injury to its jaw, but she could not get close enough to tell what it was for sure. She was concerned the cow may have been shot. Deputies told her to call a veterinarian to look at the cow’s injury and she should not allow the cow to walk around.

Dameon Welsh, an employee of the Roger’s Group Home, reported at 4:06 p.m. Wednesday he had witnessed one boy there making threats toward a bus driver and another child who stays at the group home. The information is being sent to the juvenile prosecutor for possible charges.
