Donald C. Fiore, 51, Madison Avenue, Salem, was bound over to the county grand jury on a charge of OVI fourth offense after he waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Monday in Columbiana County Municipal Court. Additionally charges of OVI second offense, felony OVI and driving under OVI suspension were transferred to the common plead court.

A June 28 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Gaven L. Heiney, 20, Nevada Street, Wellsville, charged with illegal possession of a firearm inside a liquor establishment and carrying a concealed weapon for allegedly having a Taurus .357 magnum revolver handgun sticking out of his pants’ waistband under his shirt while inside the Busy Bee Tavern on June 1. Court documents state Heiney fled the bar after his handgun was taken off him by bar manager Josh McClain.

Leyland Burnip, 25, East Park Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $700, had his license suspended for a year, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and left of center.

A July 23 pretrial was set for Jamie Alan Severs, 39, West Main Street, East Palestine, cited with OVI first offense, driving under suspension and left of center.

A June 25 pretrial was set for Rodney S. Harsh, 50, Moore Street, East Liverpool, charged with assault for allegedly grabbing Joshua Lapin by the neck, scratching it and causing it to bleed during a fight on Sunday.

An Aug. 13 pretrial was set for Michael F. Lewis, 34, West Pershing Street, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly taking a Hostess cupcake from Smith Oil by placing it in his jacket pocket before leaving the store.

Richard Ralph Vecchio, 56, state Route 164, Lisbon, was fined $100 for disorderly conduct for walking on state Route 164 while intoxicated on Thursday.

Jonathan W. Bryan, 34, Youngstown, was fined $150 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana possession.

Justin Andrew Batman-Smitha, 20, West State Street, Salem, was fined $150 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana possession.

Alexis N. Lindsley, 26, Rose Drive, Lisbon, was fined $150 and had her license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

An Aug. 6 pretrial was set for Cameron Lease Croxton, 27, Cedar Ridge, Salem, cited with driving under suspension.

An Aug. 6 pretrial was set for Michael W. Sedjo, 35, Massillon, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

A July 23 pretrial was set for Shaila K. Atkinson, 36, East Oregon Avenue, Sebring, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

An Aug. 6 pretrial was set for Daniel Keith Duncan, 39, West High Street, Salineville, cited with driving under a non-compliance suspension and operation of an all purpose vehicle on the roadway.

An Aug. 7 pretrial was set for Michael Austin Condes, 19, Tomahawk Drive, Negley, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

Tonya P. Tavern, 38, Koppel, Pa., was fined $210 for driving under suspension, a seat belt violation and speeding.

Jeremy W. Jones, 27, Peace Valley Road, Rogers, was fined $200 for wrongful entrustment.

Chelsea Garrett, 39, North Canton, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.

Carly D. Bowman, 28, North Madison Avenue, Salem, was fined $150 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Thomas C. Poynter, 52, state Route 518, Lisbon, was fined $150 for no license amended from driving under suspension.

An Aug. 6 pretrial was set for Anh Tuyet Nguyen, 39, Wheeling, W.Va., cited with driving under FRA suspension.

A July 16 pretrial was set for Phillip W. Hulett, 52, Seigler Road, Lisbon, cited with open container.

A marked lanes charge against Samuel G. Baier, 72, Apache Lane, Columbiana, was dismissed.

A leaving the scene citation against Thomas C. Foley, 42, North Jefferson Street, Lisbon, was dismissed.
