Dakota Best, Salem-Alliance Road, Butler Township, reported at 1:21 p.m. Thursday his ex-girlfriend, Kayla Hartman; her new boyfriend, Dakota Guy; and Guy’s dad, Donnie Guy, are harassing him.
Jordan Warrick of Smith and Thompson Enterprises of Madison Township, reported Friday that sometime overnight someone damaged their excavating equipment. Both windows were shattered.
An ODOT crew leader reported Friday that sometime overnight someone took 119 gallons of diesel fuel from three pieces of their equipment which were parked on state Route 9 at King Road.
Deputies responded to the area of Hull Road near Glasgow Road in Wayne Township at 8:16 a.m. Friday where a woman was reportedly passed out in a truck. Franklin Township first responders told deputies she was having medical issues and she was transported to the hospital.
On Friday, a shotgun was reported stolen from the garage of William and Shawna Parrish, Hazel Run Road, Washington Township.
Deputies attempted to contact Brenda Bland at a Lisbon-Dungannon Road home in Center Township about a family member in the hospital at 5:43 a.m. Saturday. The person living at the home states Bland does not live there.
Deputies went to a home on Wooddale Drive, Hanover Township, to serve court paperwork at 8:43 p.m. Wednesday and found the front sunroom door was open and the glass was broken out of the front door of the home. It appeared the house was vacant and someone had broken in. Deputies checked to make certain no one was inside and secured the home before leaving.
Deputies and a Perry Township officer went to the home on McCracken Road, Salem, to serve a warrant for Michael S. Smith at 9:17 a.m. Saturday. Smith ran out the back door of the home and refused to listen to commands to stop running. He was tased and taken into custody on the felony warrant for charges of obstructing official business and other charges of OVI, driving under suspension, failure to appear and a child support violation. In addition he received new charges of resisting arrest and obstructing official business.
