Jeremy Becay, 39, Kibler Road, New Waterford, was charged with domestic violence after deputies responded to his home at 11:22 p.m. Wednesday. Becay is accused of assaulting his wife, Leanne Becay.

Bradley Robert Weber reported at 3:02 p.m. Monday his brother drove by his deceased father’s property on state Route 164 in Wayne Township the day before and saw a red pickup truck with a mower deck and some other items in the bed. Weber checked the next day and found multiple items were missing from the garage. The garage had contained duct work and other things his father used for work. A back shelving unit was damaged.

Roxann Szegedi reported a possible domestic dispute at the home of her sister, Angela Tondo, Sprucevale Road, Middleton Township, at 12:09 p.m. Monday. Szegedi was concerned Tondo’s live-in boyfriend, Jonathan Weaver, was fighting with her sister because Tondo hung up the phone. However, Tondo said she was on the phone with her mother now trying to get a ride and Weaver had already left for his court date. There was reportedly no domestic dispute or sign of abuse.

Jessica L. Jackson, Metz Road, Columbiana, reported at 11:08 p.m. Tuesday she and her ex-boyfriend, Michael Riley, broke up and he continues to text and call her and her 13-year-old daughter. Deputies explained she needs to tell him to stop contacting them and then document when that has been done and any further contact.

Cows were reported near the railroad tracks in the area of Mountz Road and Homeworth Road at 2:49 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies found at least 20 head of cattle near the intersection and the tracks. The owner, Jonathan Hahn, Bayard Road, Minerva, arrived on an ATV and took care of the cows. Deputies warned him this was not the first call they have had about his cattle and he needs to take measures to avoid them getting loose in the future.

Sharon Crawford, state Route 39, Washington Township, reported at 10:44 a.m. Wednesday someone scammed her into giving up her Social Security number.

At 9:56 p.m. Wednesday, Cheyenne N. Cooper, Latta Road, Unity Township, reported her live-in boyfriend, Anthony Antonas, pushed her multiple times, grabbed her hair and threw her around the home. She was able to escape and call the sheriff’s office.

Loose horses were reported in the area of state Route 558, New Waterford, at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday.
