Wellsville Police Reports

John Gubur, Main Street, reported at 3:20 p.m. Saturday he was inside his residence and heard a crash. He went outside and found his vehicle had been hit. He said the other vehicle had left by the time he got outside, but a maroon-colored side mirror and a mudflap for a Buick LeSabre were discovered near his vehicle. At 5:20 p.m., police were called to the Rite Aid on Third Street for another hit-skip. Officers stated Keith Grimm, who drove a maroon Buick LeSabre, said someone hit the side of his vehicle and left the scene. Upon seeing this, the officer returned to Main Street and recovered the mudflap and the piece of the mirror left behind, which matched perfectly to Grimm’s side left mirror. Grimm was cited for failure to control.
