Jordon W.R. Watts, 37, pleaded innocent to OVI charges in Columbiana County Municipal Court, and a presentence hearing is scheduled for April 24. Watts was cited following a traffic stop on state Route 11 at 10:34 p.m. March 10. He was also cited for a turn signal violation.
In other court action, Matthew P. Soldo, 38, Hilltop Drive, Lisbon, was given credit for 105 days spent incarcerated after being found guilty of theft and violating a protection order. Soldo was accused of taking cigarettes and a cup of coffee from the Speedway in Salem without paying for them. He was also found standing outside the home of Ashley House of Salem in violation of a protection order. As part of his sentence, Soldo was ordered to continue with his counseling.
Jerry R. Miller, 59, Bell Road, Lisbon, was fined $430 and ordered to attend Steering Clear classes after being found guilty of OVI and seatbelt and tail light violations.
Jerry L. Taylor, 60, Lisbon Road, Leetonia, was fined $200 and sentenced to three days in the county jail after being found guilty of driving under suspension and driving with fictitious plates.
Brian R. Bryarley, 28, Shady Side Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and his license was suspended for six months after being found guilty of possessing marijuana and a pipe used to smoke marijuana. He was found with the items following a traffic stop in Wellsville on March 10. Bryarley was also fined $50 for a turn signal violation.
Cortney L. Cusick, 23, East Chestnut Street, Lisbon, was fined $80 for driving under suspension and a turn signal violation.
John P. Peterbaugh, 43, Maple Street, Kensington, charged was fined $200 after being found guilty of two counts of possessing drug paraphernalia — a glass bowl used to smoke marijuana and a marijuana pipe.
Colton J. Adams, 27, Center Avenue, Lisbon, was fined $180 for driving under suspension and a seat belt violation. He was cited following a traffic stop in Center Township on March 8.
Daniel A. Halatek, 54, of Struthers, was fined $100 after being found guilty of failure to move left for a public safety vehicle. He was cited on March 2 while traveling on state Route 11 in Fairfield Township.
