Lisbon Police Reports

Carol Belaney, Sunset Drive, reported Monday having just received four calls from someone saying they had just gotten a call from her number, which was not the case. The persons were from New Philadelphia, Lisbon and Youngstown.

Thomas Adams of Salem was backing up to make room for a turning semi-trailer when he struck the vehicle behind him driven by Monica Crawford, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon. This occurred at the intersection of Market Street and Lincoln Way and left Crawford’s pickup truck with a dented bumper.

Paul Myers, East Chestnut Street, called at 9:55 a.m. Monday because his landlord showed up to serve him with an eviction notice. Myers was advised this was a civil matter, and he told the officer it was ridiculous the landlord was going to evict him because he has a drinking problem. Myers said if that is the case the tenant upstairs should also be evicted for smoking weed with children around.
