Highway Patrol/Lisbon Post

Adam M. Carver, 34, Beloit Snodes Road, Beloit, was cited with operating without reasonable control after he was southbound on Westville Lake Road at 8 a.m. Saturday in Knox Township and traveled off the east side of the road at the intersection with Hartley Road, striking a ditch, a cable box, gas marker, culvert, an embankment and a tree. He had minor injuries, but said he would seek treatment himself.

Camryn Shawn Michael Sutton, 16, 12th Street, Homeworth, was cited with operating without reasonable control after he was eastbound on Georgetown Road in Knox Township at 8 a.m. Friday, lost control on a patch of icy snow-covered roadway, slid off the left side of the road and struck both a traffic sign and a utility pole. Sutton was uninjured.

Timothy A. Gamble, 55, Jane Street, Columbiana, was southbound on state Route 11 in Fairfield Township when he struck a deer crossing the road and killed it at 6:50 a.m. Friday. Gamble was driving a Ford F-Series Super Duty 4×2, owned by C. Tucker Cope Associates, Inc.

Lynn L. Norton, 43, North Market Street, East Palestine, was driving behind Samuel A. Piacquadio, 59, Warren, southbound on state Route 165 in Unity Township at 5:35 p.m. Thursday. Norton went to pass while Piacquadio made a left turn into a driveway and was struck by Norton. No injuries were reported. Norton was cited with improper passing.

Virginia L. Beckett, 36, Beard Road, East Palestine, was westbound on Brushville Road in Unity Township when she lost control on the icy road, spun off the right side and struck a utility pole at 12:45 p.m. Thursday. Beckett went to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital to be checked for possible injuries. She was cited with operating without reasonable control.

Ronald S. Witherow, 63, Fife Coal, Wellsville, was eastbound on Alderlick Road in Wayne Township at 7:10 a.m. Thursday, while Lindsey May Hall, 17, Alderlick Road, Wellsville, was westbound. The vehicles met at the crest of a hill and sideswiped each other. Witherow then went off the right side of the road, over corrected and went off the left side, striking an embankment. Hall continued from the scene of the crash. Neither driver nor Hall’s 15-year-old passenger were injured and it was not possible to determine who was left of center. Witherow learned the identity of the other driver online and provided the troopers with her name on Friday. She provided a statement.

Michael William Grace, 28, Youngstown, was cited with operating without reasonable control after he was eastbound on state Route 14 in Unity Township at 8:31 p.m. Jan. 15, crossed the center line, went off the left side of the road and struck a ditch. Grace and passenger Steven Patrick Bowles, 27, West Main Street, Washingtonville, were both uninjured.

Chandler Charles Joseph, 18, Lones Road, Lisbon, was cited with operating without reasonable control after he was southbound on state Route 45 in Madison Township at 12:25 a.m. Jan. 14, went off the right side of the road and struck a tree. Neither Joseph, nor his passengers, Tyler Reed, 18, state Route 154, Lisbon, or Alex F. Orouke, 18, Glasgow Road, Lisbon, were injured.

Rebekah J. Klem, 18, Kelly Park Road, Columbiana, was northbound on Columbiana-Lisbon Road in Fairfield Township at 4:10 p.m. Jan. 15, when she failed to maintain control, went off the right side of the road and struck both a sign and an embankment. Klem was cited with failure to control. Neither she nor her 15-year-old passenger were injured.

Ronald Scott Weaver, 26, Taylor Road, Negley, was cited with failure to control after he was eastbound on state Route 154 in Middleton Township at 7:15 a.m. Sunday, traveled off the north side of the road, struck a guardrail and continued down an embankment before rolling onto the driver’s side. Weaver was uninjured.

Beverly K. Madden, 75, Lucretia Lane, Columbiana, was southbound on state Route 7 in Fairfield Township at 4:38 p.m. Friday when she slowed to turn west onto Heck Road. Tiffany M. Hipple, 23, North Market Street, Lisbon, was following behind Madden and struck her vehicle from the rear. Hipple was cited with assured clear distance. No injuries were reported.

Andrew J. Hays, 23, East Main Street, Salineville, was southbound on state Route 164 in Wayne Township at 6:56 p.m. Saturday when he struck a deer. Hays and his passengers — Megan Beadnell, 23, East Main Street, Salineville, and a 1-year-old boy — were uninjured.

Danielle Alexis Sluss, 27, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was westbound on Gamble Road at 1:09 p.m. Saturday when she went off the right side of the road on a curve and struck a tree. Neither Sluss nor her 1-year-old passenger were injured. Sluss was cited with failure to control.
